Ram khechdi SWEET KHICHDI

  
Ingredients

1. Arua rice-200gm.
2. Pea dal-25gm.
3. Salt-according to taste
4. Bay leaf-2pcs.
5. Sugar-25gm.
6. Pulse dal-25gm.
7. Pigeon pea dal-25gm.
8. Turmeric powder-1/2 spoon.
9. Green chilly-4pcs.
10. Cow ghee-50gm.
11. Potato-1pc.
12. Pumpkin-small piece
13. Papaya-small piece
14. Parval-1pc
15. Brinjal-1pc
16. Banana-1pc
17. Raddish-1pc
18. Black peeper-1-2 spoon

Method

Heat the frying pan with ghee.
Add long pieces of chilly to it.
Add the cut vegetable pieces and bay leaves in it.
Add salt & turmeric powder in it.
Add the washed rice and all items in it.
Add water to it
Add double water according to the amount of ingredients.
After they are roasted, add sugar & desi ghee to it.
At the end, add black peeper in it.
Now ram khichdi is ready.



Ingredients

Ghee- 25 gm.
Kaju & khismis-20gm.
Salt-according to taste
Bay leave-2pcs
Sugar-100gm.
Scraped coconut-half pc
Cardamom-4pcs.
Turmeric powder-1 spoon
Desi ghee-1 spoon

Method

Put the frying pan or pressure cooker in the gas
Add ghee and bay leaves.
Wash the rice properly
Then fry the rice properly.
Add water along with turmeric powder and salt.
If you are using the pressure cooker, the amount of water must be double than rice.
If you are using a frying pan, the amount of water must be thrice than rice.
Close the gas when the pressure cooker gives two whistles.
But in frying pan, wait till the rice is boiled.
Fry and keep kaju & khismis separate from other.
After the rice is prepared, add sugar, kaju, khismis & cardamom to it.
Eat after adding & cooling it with desi ghee.
Sweet khichdi is ready.
