Ingredients
Flavored arua rice-200gm
Ghee-25gm.
Salt-according to taste
Cinnamon-1pc (small)
Onion-50gm.
Pulse dal-100gm.
Turmeric-1 spoon
Clove-2pcs
Black peeper-5pcs.
Method
Wash and soak the rice and pulse dal in water.
Fry fine layer of onion pieces and fry it separately with ghee.
With the remaining ghee, fry the spice and add with rice and pulse
dal till you smell the flavor.
Savour it with double the amount of water and boil it.
When the rice is half completed, add fried onion on a faint heat.
Now pulse dal khichdi is ready.

Kaju & khismis-20gm.
Salt-according to taste
Bay leave-2pcs
Sugar-100gm.
Scraped coconut-half pc
Cardamom-4pcs.
Turmeric powder-1 spoon
Desi ghee-1 spoon
Method
Put the frying pan or pressure cooker
in the gas
Add ghee and bay leaves.
Wash the rice properly
Then fry the rice properly.
Add water along with turmeric powder and salt.
If you are using the pressure cooker, the amount of water must
be double than rice.
If you are using a frying pan, the amount of water must be thrice
than rice.
Close the gas when the pressure cooker gives two whistles.
But in frying pan, wait till the rice is boiled.
Fry and keep kaju & khismis separate from other.
After the rice is prepared, add sugar, kaju, khismis & cardamom
to it.
Eat after adding & cooling it with desi ghee.
Sweet khichdi is ready.
