Ingredients 1. Arua rice-1/2 kg.
2. Coconut-1 pc
3. Milk-1 ltr.
4. Sugar-3 cup
5. Cardamom -2 pcs
6. Ghee-1 spoon
7. Salt-according to taste
Methods
Boil milk upto dry.
Add cardamom powder, sugar and dry milk.
Melt arua rice 4 hour in a bowl and grind it with coconut.
Add sugar, salt and water in this mix items.
Knead it after cold.
Put the above mixture of cardamom powder, sugar and dry milk in
the knead item.
Now coconut manda is ready.

Ingredients

Chickpea dal-200 gm
Molasses-100 gm
Coconut-1 piece
Ginger-a small piece
Black pepper- 1 teaspoonful
Method
Wash and soak the chickpea dal in water for 2
hours.
Make a fine paste of arua rice.
Boil the chick pea dal.
Scrap the coconut.
Make a half paste of the chickpea dal.
Add scrapped coconut, black pepper, ginger paste and molasses
in it.
Make dough of the rice paste.
Add the chickpea dal in it and make round shapes out of it, closing
it from all sides.
Lastly, boil it in an idli casting mould.
