Tomato rice

Ingredients

Arua rice-200gm
Refine oil-5 ml.gm.
Turmeric powder-2 spoon
Hengu-a small amount
Chick pea- 25gm.
Curry leaf
Tomato- 100gm.
Dry chilly-8pcs.
Meethi powder-1/4 spoon
Savour it

Method

Boil water in a frying pan.
Wash arua rice
Put it in the frying pan.
After 2 - 3 minutes, separate rice from water.
Boil water in a frying pan. After the water is boiled, wash the arua rice and add water. Remove the water properly from rice. Boil the cut tomato pieces in half cup of water. Use pressure cooker for easier use. Cool it after it is boiled. Squeeze them to bring the juice out. If required separate seeds and the layer of tomato. Heat oil in a frying pan and savour them. After savouring, add turmeric powder to it, cut the curry leaves and add tomato juice and salt to it. Add rice to it after it is half fried. Tomato rice is ready.

 


Ingredients

Arua rice- 200gm.
Water- 400ml.

Method

1. Boil water
2. Put the arua rice into the boiled water
3. If it is new rice, add refined oil into the boiled    water before adding arua rice.
4. Drain out water from rice.
5. After that plain rice is ready.
